yes it is possible. I was with my first true love for over 5 years, and I didnt think I could get over him. No matter what he said or did to me I couldnt let go of this man. Finally I realized that I was more unhappy than I had ever been my whole life. I wrote a list; one of the good things about our relationship and the other was the negative about us and the bad overcome the good by so many. Thats when I knew it was time to go, and I went. It was hard as hell for sure and there were many nights I cried. But IZ knew I deserved better as did my kids and thats what gave me the strength to stay gone. Its been a few months now and I refuse to go back. I still love him and always will, we have too many memories to just block him out. But Id rather be alone than unhappy. Yes you can get over them

At first it's very hard. After sometimes maybe not. Eventually yes, but now and then their image still comes back to haunt. The memories are always there.

Yes, but you will be sad for a while. Prob 6-12 months and then you will get over them.

YES i was with my ex for 14 years it took about a year then i moved on, but i saw other ppl within that year....go out date and that will help good luck with that

Yup, I was with one for 8 years!!! Prayed reaaaaaaaaally hard to God and heard my prayer in 2 weeks!!!! Couln't be any happier!!!
