Well, if you eat in small bits 6 times a day, they say it is better for you, as long as the meals are balanced between protein, carbohydrate and fat.
If you are only eating one meal, it is like only filling up a car with gasoline once and expecting to drive it forever. Food is fuel and when it runs out, you can lose brain power, your muscles can lose some of their function (clumsys) and you can feel less than your best.

You don't have to eat three times a day. It all depends on what you eat when you do eat. If you are overweight, you will probably shed some pounds if you couple your lack of intake with exercise. If you are thin, you need to eat as much as possible with a high calorie count right before you go to bed. Sorry, not enough information to make a healthy calculation. Make sure you take your vitamins after you eat because vitamins are worthless without food in your tummy. Hope this helps.

You can become malnurshed (sp?). If you can't eat 3 times a day, try to eat 2 times a day and have a Carnation Instant Breakfast shake for your 3rd meal. It is loaded with vitamins and minerals that your body needs. A few very important ones are calcium, potassium and iron.

Well, how do you feel? I personally eat several small meals as opposed to three traditional meals and that works much better for me!
