I have some bad moments when I think negatively... and see no way out, just for no special reason. It happens about 5% of the time..... I had a hard life before and memories keep coming back - this is the reason to it! We cannot be busy 100% of time not to remember things... or we cannot empty our memory bin like they erase a hard disk in a computer........

But then I also notice that this is not realistic..... things are not as bad as I see them!
And I put on some good music, go get fresh air, talk to a friend, read a joke, do something relaxing, watch a movie, clean up the house, buy a nice t-shirt, get something DONE..... and the bad feelings go away as if they had never been there.

:-)

I try and keep a handle on my depression... I used *zoloft and then *remeron for a few years..but didn't really notice that they made that much difference, so I quit taking them. I guess about 30% of the time.. but it isn't a morose type of depression any more where I can't even get out of bed (which is amazing), I have changed alot about my lifestyle and have started to self analyze more so now than I ever have in the past... I think most people suffer from a form of depression occaisionally... but being diagnosed with bi-polar disorder is a totally different area altogether...maybe you should clarify..Peace.

Not very often, I could be 99 percent of the time, anyone could be, you have to choose to look past the bad and move on and just enjoy life, why waste time being depressed?....God bless

well...i used to be depressed about 10% of the time...like i would go up to my room and cry for no reason...but then i realized that you only live once and as i did that someone might be having the best time of their life and you could be doing something like them!! so you pretty are wasting your life sitting in a corner crying!!! so move on when something bad happens don't dwell on it for two long or you'll turn your life around to a degree you will probably regret!!
:)
