He's not loaded but from where she is from a £50 note probably seems rich! My father and I argue like we never used to....my Mum only died 2 years ago...he met this girl on the net about 10 months later....went out there for a week...then went out for another week about 4 months later and married her on day 2 of the holiday. He is now in huge debt and all SHE does in complain about me....I could quite easily kill her!!!!!!!!!!

My cousin is 25 years younger than her husband, 2nd time round for both of them. But I think they're the exception, and they've known each other for years anyway. I have to say this girl from Ghana sounds like a gold digging passport seeking call her what you will. It is disgraceful that she conned your dad from the outset and now shows know inclination to join your family. I had an eight year relationship with a single mother and I'm still in contact with her sons who I have enomous affection for them; she should realise that parents come with children (whatever age they are) and it's all part of the deal. Sorry to say I think it's highly unlikely to work and you need to ensure that your dad's money is as secure as he can make it. Good luck anyway!

This isn't about an age difference I suspect but more about his loneliness and her manipulation of that loneliness. Will it work? Probably until she's ready to move on after she's found someone else to manipulate. Can you do anything about it? Sure, you could make her miserable and to everything in the world to undermine her as a person but would you want to disrespect your father that way and this is his choice to make so if he finds even the least bit of happiness for as long as it lasts doesn't he deserve that? I think the most you can do is be patient, maybe even respectfully let your father know you're feelings and let time take its course.

no, what u should do is talk to u'r father. if he acts like he cares about that woman more then u then try sleeping over and spending as much time as u can at a friends' hous. if that doesn't work thenmake u'rself homeless only as a last resort
i wish u the best of luck with all my heart (i mean it) lol soo soo

She sounds really rude...she sounds like she's using your dad for a green card. If she was truly in love with your dad she'd make an attempt to get to know him and his family. If it becomes a big problem talk with your dad and tell him your concerns. Me personally I wouldn't put up with that crap and I'd tell her off. Bottom line it's probably not gunna work out, hopefully they had a pre-nup...

Whether it succeeds or fails will be up to them.
They have a mountain to climb with the age difference.
Genuine mutual love for each other will help them to conquer most things.

She's gonna take your father for all he's worth. You're f*cked. She has alienated you from your dad. He's gone. Can you say Anna Nicole?

she just wanted to get in the country just like all those phillipinos do. your dad is a fool. she is not really interested in him or your family, just your country. for them, it is a way out of poverty and a way to be looked after money wise. its not love, its just a better future for her.
