Romantic ideas for me and my lover?

I like to surprise my lover but I need ideas of things we can do or places we can go just any ideas would be great ....

By the way I live in san jose

I don't know if you're a male or female.......but i'll answer suitable for both....
Send a bouquet of flowers to their office/home with a card saying meet me at (a restaurant you know she likes)...
Then, if you have access to their home...Place a card were they can see it saying (the bath is ready for you!!) have the water heated, and the soup and perfumes she/he can use on the bathtub indicating that you placed everything for them.
Then meet her/him at the place you decided. Enjoy your dinner without drinks!!!
Now, you have two options.....either:
1- take them to a quiet picnic-like place, set candles.......and make sure to have a blanket so you guys can tuck in together and drink champagne or red wine.
2- Take them home, have on glass of wine....and u can take it from here.......

1. go to the melting pot restaurant.
2. get a hotel room not to far from where you live for the weekend. eat lots of room service food!
3. take a monday off from work. go to the zoo on sunday, eat at a casual restaurant, then pop some popcorn and rent a couple of movies knowing you don't have to go to work on monday.
on monday have a late breakfast, then a late lunch, and then go to a movie.
