I started dating this guy about 6 weeks ago. He doesn't work a 9 to 5 job like I do, so we sometimes see each other during the day for lunch. We were supposed to have lunch on Wednesday, but he had to cancel because he was sick. He told me that his dad was coming into town and he had to work over the weekend (he's a bartender part-time). He said he'd call me on Sunday.
I tried to call him Sunday night but he didn't answer. I left him a message, and haven't heard back. We haven't seen each other in over a week, and I'm really hoping to see him this week.
Do I try to call him tomorrow if he doesn't call back? Is he trying to dump me without telling me he doesn't want to see me anymore?

Go with your instinct. your probably right.
Guess what ... the more you think about it the more it will just bother you.
Let it go and keep yourself busy. Its hard to do when you really like someone..
but it sounds like he's just not that into you. When a man really wants to be with a particular woman.... nothing will keep him from her.

yes, sorry to say it but dumped. that's what it is. you'll be told otherwise i'm sure, but listen, don't waste your time. it's been a week and he's already blown you off twice. (well 3 times if he's not answering the phone either). guys can be cowards like that sometimes. well i shouldn't say cowards, but the truth is they know if they tell you they don't want to see you anymore you're going to want to "talk about it". in their minds it's OVER. and they really don't want to be bothered with the arguing, crying, screaming, drama. you'll get over it it's only a 6 week thing anyway. chin up baby!!!! he might have done you a favor, setting you free for something better that's about to come along.

Don't call him anymore, but it doesnt mean he is trying to break up. I would wait it out 3 more days, if he calls then great, if not move on.

Call him one more time and leave a message saying "If you don't want to see me anymore, that's totally fine, I understand, but just please call me and let me know so that I'm not wondering." And then no more calling him until he calls you back

Do not call him again. I don't know if he's dumping you, but you may be being a little pushy. Don't wait for him to call you, either. Go on with your life. If he calls, cool. If not, move on, sister.

Ask him straight up. No beating around the bushes just go straight to the gist of it and ask him if he is avoiding you. Silence then would = a yes.
