Watch out for the sauces the food is cooked in or seasoned with; some of them are very high in sugar. Even some soy sauces are high in sugars.

Chinese food is cooked in oil that is "good" for you, so YES, you can eat chinese food! The noodles (such as in lo mein) also may not be bad for you. Ask the waitress/waiter if they are made with white flour and skip them if they are, OR, better yet....eat 1/4 of the noodles and take the rest home in a doggie bag for someone else or left overs for lunch! A good rule of thumb is to stop eating bread/pasta/rice type carbs after 2:00pm. Good Luck!
