How likely is it for a man with no sexual capabilities and no sex drive to find someone and have a successful long-term relationship? How does the man go about letting the woman know that sex is not an option without causing a break-up?

You can have love without sex and you can have sex without love.

Find a woman who also has no sexual drive. Intimacy is an important part of a relationship, and if a woman is capable of sex, she will eventually want it as it brings her closer to her partner. The best bet is to find a woman who feels about sex the same way you do. Or - if you do find a woman, but she is capable and interested in sex, just do what you can to please her - that would be the loving thing to do.

First of all before I answer this question,I want to know that you have consulted a doctor to rule out any chance that you may have at regaining either your sex drive or your capacity. That said love is certainly expressed in many ways, not all physical. It is possible to have a long-term relationship with someone without expressing yourself sexually(I am assuming that you mean any sexual act),you do this by finding someone who is willing to accept you and your "condition".Be honest right from the start,to make sure that no one gets mislead or hurt.I wish you luck on your journey, wish I had more info, hopefully this helped a bit.

I am in a relationship with the guy I have liked for 5 years...why did I like him so much for so long? Because he never even tried to do anything with me. We only HUGGED...I found it sweet. Now I know it was for other reasons: Its fine, and yes, you can find someone too. Just look for a girl not wanting physical. I know I am more interested in how he makes me laugh and his amazing intelligence (Rocket scientist, literally), and for me that and a bit of cuddling makes for what I hope is a forever relationship. About telling her: be honest, thats the best, and be up-front. Don't take her to the point she can't stand it and then say "Oh by the way.." Be open and if she can't handle it, kick her out...she's not the one for you. Point: Some girls want something more than physical...find one and it'll be great! GOOD LUCK!

Explain the problem, and oddly enough there are people out there who just don't have any desire for sex. Couples choose to stay abstinant their whole lives. There is an abstinence website and there are groups that believe that it is the best way to live even during marriage. It can work as long as you find the right person.

At the end of the day you are looking for friendship love, not sexual (romantic) love. But that is ok, I think sometimes the prior is that deep connection we really long for when we think of "love." Love is something that will just happen and honesty is a big part of it. If you like someone be honest, if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it would never have been love anyway.

It is 100% likely. You just have to tell her the situation. If she's worth being with, she'll understand and you'll both still have a great relationship. In fact it might even be very enriched, you'll be able to explore each others minds instead of your bodies. That's actually quite a lucky thing! Good luck!

Be open and honest with her, she deserves that. Let her know what you're feelings are towards her and explain your situation. I do think that it is possible to have a very successful long-term relationship without sex.

But do keep in mind that there are other ways that you can satisfy her needs without performing, if you catch my drift.

If there is no sex then basically what you would be looking for is a friendship right? I think you should approach it that way..then there's no pressure of having to let her know that sex isn't an option.

No, I'm sure she'll be happy. I want a guy like that! Be romantic, u can do a little just not a lot. But it might make her feel unattractive. Sex is not required. What they said.
