she is getting use to you. Leave her alone and let her settle in.

Well that depends on how many times you feed her. I would expect for her to poop once or twice daily.
You should probably feed her the Science Diet Kitten formula because it has smaller kernals. I wouldn't feed her wet food yet because sometimes that stuff is very rich and can make the cat sick.
If you've only had her for one day of course she is still getting used to everyone. She is even getting used to the house. Cats notice everything and they don't like much change. They are like an older person hate to say it lol.
Just make sure to give her lots of love and attention and take good care of her.
If your having any doubts though make sure to take her to a very good vet.

Good luck and have fun with your new kitten!

How old is your kitten..... and is did the people say she was eating hard kibble..... you should get a good kitten food.... this is the most important part of their developement... Also until you are sure how well litter box trained she is you should put her in a small room(bathroom) with a litter box, toys and food water any time you are gonae and cannot watch them...

Depending on your kitten's age, she may need a little "encouragement." Mothers sometimes lick their bottoms to get things started - you can just use a non scented wet wipe (no alcohol or other irritants) or a wet paper towel. You can litter box train her at the same time by doing this only in her box (it should not take much for her to catch on.)

You should try limiting her food intake as described on the box.
While she's young you should encourage her to get plenty of exercise, whether it's playing with toys etc. because they will get used to the idea of eating compulsively when they are bored and that can lead to excessive weight gain in the future.
He or she is new to you and your family, therefore this is just her way of getting used to you guys I guess but if you are concerned, I would suggest you phone your veterinarian.
Hope I've been of some help.
