They would be then as good atheists are today...the ones who had abandoned religion and sought to cure the hurting of humanity and restore the dignity of man...They would be the ones who saw religious and legal injustice and trickery and cried out against His oppressors...demanding His trial be stayed because of injustice and opression against the goodness He did for the weak and the poor...and have stopped the crucifixion...he would have loved their desire to feed the poor and asked them to hand out the multiplied fish and loaves....SEE MY 360 FOR THE REST OF THIS....

If the atheists knew he was around, they would have helped him so the judgemental ones wouldn't have crucified him.

People should help people...not judge people and hurt people for not believing in their god.

Jesus wasn't in search of good people. He was in search of people who had it on their mind that they needed to be rescued from a life of pain, whether it be conscious or illness. He didn't hide from athiests, he just didn't waste his time on anyone who had already made up their mind. His time was short and he wanted to speak to those who would actually listen and who needed someone to help them. His whole point was that there was not ONE SINGLE good person on this Earth. There is no such thing as a good person. Being good or bad wasn't the point, it was about accepting a gift of redemption for all the bad. Everyone got it no matter how "good" or bad they were, it was left up to them to accept it. He wouldn't have allowed them to stop the cruxifiction, because it was his entire reason for coming to Earth.

Jesus would have loved their doing good, but there was No Salvation or acceptance till the Blood of the Lamb was Sacrificed. ( Jesus) and then Change was required in their thinking. and Do good was not enough they then need the Blood to cleanse their Sins. and No Atheist will accept this until they accept Jesus as their Savior.

hmmm. interesting. i dont recall the story from the bible, although i am an atheist and havent read the bible 100% completely.

at least you put atheists in a good light. thats what were trying to do today, trying to get rid of a religion that does nothing but separate peopel and bring hatred, breeds stupidity and causes war and death.

A just question. Would it have been so much trouble to let the good atheists (and for that matter everyone) know there was a God and a hereafter?

Jesus came to heal and lift those who have not faith. The "good atheist" has faith in humanity and fights for righteousness and seeks enlightenment's. He took the weak, so that we could learn from them. "If the weak can do it , so can you"

How did He hide? Jesus taught publicly most of the time.

little morph-that appears to be a good name for you, just what kind of point are you attempting to make? I don't recall anything about Jesus hiding from anyone.
