It means the celebrated well off now will be brought low while those who served God and gave all they had to further His kingdom will be given important places (jobs).

Ok, hopefully I can answer this simply... it simply means that someone on Earth who is rich in materials wil be the last to enter Heaven, therefore those who have suffered in earth will be the first ones allowed into the Gates of Heaven...
It is really hard to explain... maybe a Priest can make it clearer for you?
Or how about this: a rich person is the one on earth who has everything right? and the poor is so poor they have little or nothing at all, so therefore, in heaven, the poor shall be rich and the rich shall be poor!

The best example of this is Jesus. He was definately last in the eyes of the religious system of his day, so much so, he was tortured and impaled. Afterward He became first in the Kingdom. No doubt his followers who go through similar trials, will be first in God's eyes. Rev.11:1-13,Rev.6:9-11.

the last person in line will become the first person in line and the first person in line will become the last person in line. so actually dat just mean the person in the front and the person in the back will be switching. Thats the main idea of the quote.

As it relates to the story of the farmer and his workers, those workers who started later in the day (as now compared to 1,000 yrs ago) to work for God will receive their reward first and those who started the work many years ago will be paid last.

it means that those who push for the first places will be put in the last places and those who humbly select the far places will be asked to come up; it was how seating was done in biblical times. the more important you were (or thought you were) the higher or close you were to the host. it still continues to today in formal dinners.

Don't know if I'm right or wrong, but I feel it means that those who were saved along time ago are not any better than those who are new believers. I'm still trying to find the actual meaning to that one.
