My gf lied to me about talking to an ex because she thought I would freak out. I was pissed that she did and angry that she lied to me. I also got caught looking at her email, and she set me up to prove to me I was checking up on her by posting an account on Match.com to see if I would respond. I got caught and realize I have been to possessive....How do I change?

She is not worth is, if she is keeping things from you then she will go on keeping things from you. I'm sure her match.com account was something she made to meet people, but when you found it she just told you she did it on perpus. Lets say you didn't find her profile on the sit, does that mean she would of closed it down? Also, what are you doing on the sit, maybe you guys need to sit down and talk things over or you need to leave.

If your girl friend felt you would be upset about her talking to an old friend there is deffinately a problem. The fact that you reacted the way you did indicates that she was right to be concerned. That she lied is almost certainly due to the conflict you set up between her fondness for you and her desire to communicate with her friend. Going so far as to set you up indicates that she doesn't like it. As to how you change, Relax, if she is interested enough in her relationship with you to lie she is interested enough to give you another chance. We all need our space, as long as she comes back to you, you don't need to worry about what she's doing with her other friends. If possible see if you san meet them and interact for yourself. but don't make it about her. and don't make her choose, you might not like the result. Nick

You need to have trust in your relationship even though it is hard sometimes. I ruined my past one by not trusting her. My x would always lie because she knew I would be mad. I figured she shouldnt be doing those things if she knew I would be mad and that showed me also that she didnt respect us or our relationship enough if she was doing those things. If it seems she is doing that then I wouldnt be with her. My x always did **** to make me mad. I couldnt figure out why she was always doing stuff like texting her x and grinding at the club with other guys or just leaving me out of her plans. A girlfriend shouldnt do that. I even lived with her.
SOOOO,,, my answer to you is to get a girl that doesnt do things to make you jealous or to make it seem like you are controlling.

You can't reallt. She lied, and you just have to find a way to lighten up about it... Trust her, and let her trust you, that all you can really do at this point.

she defenatly has alot to do with you feeling this way..
youre relationship is oviusly lacking in comunication...
let me tell u how it works.. if you think this way it may help you a little.
tell her..
"Dont do what you dont want me to do"
"you didnt tell me so i wouldnt get mad.. please like if you didnt know i was going to be even more upset by finding out you talk to him and knowing you kep it from me.."
You have nothing if you have NO TRUST.. AND TRUST YOU BUILD ...
COMUNICATE IT MAY WORK OUT... BUT IF IT DOESNT THEN WORK ON YOURE SELF..

you cant really change that...sometimes its just human nature...but if its too much then that just shows you dont trust her...when you get too jealous thats what it means........and if theres no trust theres nothin......maybe somethin that happened before made you feel like this.......but just think to yourself that shes with you and that should be good.....obviously if she wanted someone else she would be with them but shes not shes with you.......just learn to trust her and talk to her bout stuff that bugs you so together you guys can work it out

Quit cheating on her..let me guess she has another boyfriend and is trying to move on only you don't want to let go just yet..If talking is all she was doing what was there to be mad about.
