I have extremely dry skin around my eyes and lips. My skin has become red and flaky. It also burns sometimes. I've tried several different products but nothing seems to work. I can't go to a dermatologist because I do not have health insurance right now. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Vaseline is best for the lips as it has no ingredients to cause allergy, and is very moisturizing if used after bathing when moisture has had a chance to be absorbed into your skin. Vaseline can then keep it there longer by forming a thin barrier to keep it from evaporating from your skin as quickly as it might. This also works on all skin locations the same way if applied after bathing.
