My friend doesn't eat and when she does she throws it up. I keep telling her that its bad but she says mind your own business. She also tells me not to tell anyone or else she won't ever talk to me again!!! Should I tell her mother and save her life or should i not tell and save our friendship? I guess the life one is better but I'm still confused! What should I say to the mother? Do you think the mother knows??? AHHH!!!

If nothing has been done yet about it, chances are that her mother doesn't know what is going on, or the extent to which it is if she has any idea. Tell her mother, and get your friend some help, she may be upset with you now, but she'll thank you for it later...she has no idea what she is doing to herself...bulimia is dangerous and I don't think you want to stand around watching her ruin her life and possibly die from it...then I am sure you would have wish you did something about it...tell her mom, and if her mom doesn't believe you tell her again, and again until she sees what is going on!! Get her help in any way that you can..

No the mother does not know... if she did she wouldn't be doing it anymore. You WILL lose your friend if you tell the mother. You have to tell your friend that it isn't healthy, maybe give her some articles about it so she can read for herself. It's her life, you can't make her decision for her, all you can do is educate her. Maybe she fears what life will be if she gets fat more than she fears death.

If you tell her mother, your friend is going to be really mad at you. But, DO IT ANYWAY! She could die from doing that. I highly doubt her mother knows. You need to sit down with her mom and explain what's going on. Good luck to you and your friend.

You need to tell her mother, you'd rather save her life. Believe me if her problem is taken care of she will be talking to you sooner that you know.
