PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR!

I want to know what you know about these products. How good do they work on African American hair? Are they greasy or oily on our hair? Do they nap up our hair when put on it? Tell me about the ones you know about. I want to know how well they work on natural African American hair also.
And go ahead and tell me about any other hair moisturizer that will not nap up our hair when applied that you know of.

IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAS NATURAL AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR. THIS IS REALLY NEEDED FOR NATURAL AA HAIR! I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE. CAUCASIAN AND BI RACIAL HAIR ARE NOT THE SAME AS NAPPY NATURAL AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR BECAUSE THEY ARE BOTH BASICALLY STRAIGHT, MEANING IF YOU GET YOUR HAIR WET YOU DON'T EVER HAVE TO PRESS IT DURING YOUR WHOLE LIFE. ON NATURAL AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR IF YOU POOR A CUP OF WATER ON YOUR HEAD IT NAPS UP INTO A LAMB WOOL KINKY PUFF BALL AND MUST BE PRESSED TO STRAIGHTEN IT. I AM NOT TRYING TO OFFENED ANYONE , SO PLEASE DON'T BE. I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE THIS HAIR TYPE UNDERSTANDS THIS.

You can check out product reviews of the Hollywood Beauty Olive Creme and the Elasta QP Mango Butter Moisturizer at http://www.motowngirl.com/reviews.php.

I just bought the mango butter this week. It smells really good and although I've only used a tiny bit of it on my naturally curly hair (it comes in a really small jar) I like the results.

The Olive Creme is only $3 at Walgreens and I've heard good things about it so I am probably going to try that too.

I've heard and used about every product on your list. They are good, but like you said require you to have another grade of hair.I want to share a secret of mine with you for natural hair. I have two daughters and both of them have natural thick curly hair (all nappy). Since birth I have been using Indian Hemp in their hair you can only find this at an Albertson's Grocery Store. It's made by a company named Kuza. It has totally all natural ingredients and is perfect to use after drying the hair. It really keeps the hair moisturized and healthy after one time of using it you will immediately notice a difference. The hair becomes soft and easily manageable, only you can't use to much because it can become very greasy.A dime piece is good for the average head of hair unless your hair is really long, but use a little at a time. The canister it comes in is clear with a brown top. Indian Hemp smells good too.Oh yeah i forgot to mention this is one of those products that if you use one time and decide to change will end up in regretting it.

I have really dry hair and only will recommend Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Lotion and Oil Sheen. They also have a carrot oil my creme my sister love. She is not bi-racial but, her hair is very nice. It makes my hair shine all day and the only moisturizer that lasted all day for me. I use the lotion at night and wrap my hair. In the morning I spray the oil sheen on and comb out my wrap. It shines all day and someone recommend Profectiv. Profectiv feels sticky, weighs my hair down, and hair looks dry with it. The products you listed I have not used and want because I am satisfied with Organic Root Stimulator. It is not expensive and the BEST moisturizer on the market to me.

Good Luck!!!

I use the Curly Q products on my daughters hair and I LOVE IT! The Curly Q Custard is great for getting her spiral curls to sit nice and keep them from frizzing. These are the BEST products I have used.

Hmm, actually I used Carrot oil before and it works wonders. Its a liquid and you just put it in your hand and massage it into your scalp. I really like it a lot.
