Depends where you are. In Singapore it's for life - about half a year. They apply the death sentence.
In Holland if the small amount is small enough no penalty.
If your small amount is small enough so you can't be charged with pushing you may get off with with a warning/reprimand and maybe probation.
If you were bust in the vicinity of minors then you might be let off with a reprimand and probation on the drugs but you will do jail time for corrupting minors.
