its all about personal preference...... as you can see... the typical male has expressed himself in the previous answers.... but eventually as men mature they realize things beyond superficial beauty do count. What does eventually make a difference is how you feel around that person. Do they make you feel special? Do they fulfill all your desires (this may sound perverted but theres a lot more to desires than ................)?? Are they compatible in every way possible??
Character and beauty would be the most obvious preference then. most men put beauty first... and then end up divorced :P

Looks have meaning, and so does personality. I think most guys would agree that they want a girl who is not an easy pushover, and she's not a girl that is high maintenance either.

To bes honest i liek girls who are both good looking and has a nice personality. If she's a sweet girl and is cute (i love italian girls) i fall for her realy easily.

i am not a guy but i am bi so what i look for is a girl who is sweet and nice but a lil crazy sometimes and she has to be up for almost anything fun must like cars and the out doors!!! i think like most guys so i hope this helps

i can only tell you what i look for however i believe no two guys are the same. i look for someone who is not dramatic, and who is a sweetheart, also someone who does not have a hidden agenda. and obviously a woman i'm attracted to, she just has to be a good person overall, but for me she needs to be just a little independant, being clingy is not attractive to anyone.
