I did a test drive and the car didn't feel too safe on sharp turns and U-Turns. The car didn't hug the road very well. Is this car safe because that is the most important thing for me? Thanks in advance!

The Toyota Camry is a point A to point B car which has very few problems. After 45,000 miles on a 2002 I have no complaints and no maintenance issues. I seldom make sharp turns and I can't remember my last U-Turn.

If your driving style is to cut corners with sharp turns, then Camry is not your choice. Instead, you should get an Accord. In general, Toyota made cars have soft springs and they are very comfy to ride in. However, Honda made cars have stiff springs and it doesn't give you body rolls like Camry. And yes, Camry is a very safe car.

Camrys are very unsatisfying cars to drive. Very dependible, comfy enough, but seriously dull. Wait til the 2007 Nissan Altima comes out in October. New chassis, way upgraded interior, all the cool stuff for better price than Camry.

I always felt that Honda Accords handled much better than Camry's. Try driving that, and also the Acura TSX. I know what you mean about the Camry.
