Take him to the vet. If his breath is really that bad there may be something wrong. Even if there isn't they can give you some suggestions

Don't smell its breath... but sometimes you just do it by accident. Maybe you should buy it special treats and not feed it stinky foods like canned food or tuna or something. Some treats for dogs are supposed to make their breath smell better but I've never tried them, my dogs breath doesn't smell.
Oh, now that I read the persons answer above me, I remember that my cousins dog was a collie and she had bad smelling breath even though she brushed her teeth, and she had stomach cancer, so I don't know if you should worry about something so drastic or not but it wouldn't hurt to check it out.

You need to see a qualified veterinarian and have your dog examined. In most cases, plaqaue and infection will cause a dog's breath to smell and it should be taken care of. If it's due to a problem with another organ, they can determine that upon examination and with further tests if the teeth seem fine.

first make sure there is nothing caught between the teeth like fur or grass, usually they like to hide between molars. second make sure there isn't a foriegn body in the roof of the mouth or the gums. nnext i would take him to the vet for a teeth cleaning then switch to a dental diet (there are some made commercially but the best ones are sold through your vet) then keep up brushing your dogs teeth, thats excellent that you can
