The ten commandments have been listed already but I think someone should also say what they're not.
They're not Christian.
They appear in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible but before the Jesus episodes. They are the basis of Jewish Law and Islam draws from them, too. Islamic fundamentalists, until very recently, interpreted "Thou shalt not make graven images" to mean all graphic representations of reality including photographs and television.
The Christians only have two commandments.
1: Love God.
2: Love Thy Neighbour.
in that order.
I'm NOT a Christian or a Jew or a Muslim and I don't want anyone making assumptions, so I mention it. This is just relevant information.

Thou shall not use the Lords name in vein.(I think alot of people really need to reflect on this one)
Thou shall not kill
Thou shall not steal
Thou shall honor thy mother and thy father
Thou shall not bear false witness
Thou shall not have false idols
Thou shall not want what thy neighbor has
I don't have a Bible handy but these are the ones I can think of now, the library probably doesn't have a bible.

I don't know, but bible thumpers routinely violate the one about taking God's name in vain. Christians violate that one about having other Gods before God.
I suppose that makes the rest of them irrelevant.
