No, 12 weeks of boot camp will turn you into a soldier.

It is hard, and people are afraid... of people. Christians are always trying to evangelize the world for the sake of Christ. I personally like St. Thomas' approach to Christ's love. Pretty much, "love me, but don't go overboard." People who want to be saved will be saved. People who want non-existence will get their desire. People who desire peace will get it. Just leave them alone. They'll find whatever ends that justify their means.

I don't need drugs and sex to be happy. And you assuming that all non-Christians use such substances is absurd. Christians do it too!

There is plenty of things that science teaches us about the existence of man. One thing that cannot be measured is God. How can we ascertain he or she or it exists? Faith is the only thing you have. The Bible is a piece of literature that got into the hands of man, having the possibility of being changed throughout the years BY MEN.

Death does not scare me. Nor should it for anyone. It's a part of life.

The fact that you generalize all non-Christians into one category also proves your age, and how little you know about the world. I agree with whoever said it first. Go to college and see how your opinions will change. And the fact that you classify all non-Christians as 'weak' proves that you have an inferiority complex yourself. You feel superior by making others feel inferior. This is the same kind of thinking that Hitler himself used.

So, in closing, before you type, THINK. It may spare you some grief.

I am an atheist, 58 year old grandfather, former police officer, veteran of the US Army, was a practicing Christian for over 30 years, read the bible more than once, and my grandfather was a Baptist preacher. But, I can see there is no way I could win a debate with you given your vast knowledge and superior intellect.

Good luck in your war, you'll need luck because you have very little ammunition.

Here's a hint: The bible is a book of mythology and supernatural entities ("Gods") do not exist in fact.

Your heart is in the absolute right place and I strongly admire your passion for God. Keep it up. Since I know you personally, I know that you are a wonderful Christian young man who is admirable and strong in faith. And I can honestly say, from experience, that I have learned the hard way how to talk to people who don't share the same beliefs as we Christians do. It's hard. Some people find it hard to accept that someone (Jesus) loves them enough to die for their transgressions and sins. I can't imagine why they can't accept such love, but its true. Some people say there is no way to prove God's existance, but I have to say, there is no way to prove God doesn't exist. Look outside at the magnificent never-ending sky. Look at your fearfully and wonderfuly made body that was crafted in the image of God. Whether you believe it or not, God is in control and will work His will according to the perfect plans He has made. He is here. He gave His perfect Son to us to die a painful death of love and sacrifce on a cross so that we may be able to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. To me personally, Jesus is my everything. I have been through many ups and downs in life, from deaths of friends to doubting my own faith. But He has always been there to take me back into open arms of love and forgivness. This love is unlike anything else on Earth and my heart can't even imagine how wonderful Heaven will be. Christ is everywhere. He wants to be close to you and in your heart. Every word that is recorded in the Bible is the inspired word of God and is true and everlasting. By reading and understanding God's word, we can further understand Him and His divine purpose. We can also get to know our precious Savior more. Forgiveness comes though Him and Him alone. Honestly, what could you possibly have to lose by gaining eternal life in Heaven and the Savior of the world?

I'd truly like to know what hardships you have endured in your little time here on planet Earth. Death doesn't scare me little man. Your god does not own me for one. I am not weak either. I have and hold strong beliefs. They just don't seem to be yours. As for the smacking of our thoughts, I thought your god is the only one that does smiting? What convinces us that no god exists? Well, gods do exist. In my opinion. Which I have the right to have. How can I be contumacious to someone that holds no power over me? A greater challenge for you little man, learn to respect others opinions and their right to them. Otherwise, your existence here on earth is going to be a sad one before you go to where ever you believe.

Dear Ghost Rider,
I am glad to see your zeal for God and I commend your for it. People, generally, don't care what you know until they know that you care. Jesus loved all including the woman caught in adultery and served the masses and had compassion on them the Bible says because they were tormented. Why were they tormented? Because of the consequences of their actions. The way God has designed to world is that we reap (harvest) what we sow (plant). The deeper we dive into sex, drugs, etc the more devastation we reap in our lived. Jesus showed us the way to soldier in his army, tell the truth to people in a loving way and await the day they realize they need more than they have. Then show them the "Wayofthemaster.com". Again, young man, well done for making the choice to serve God. When I was young and zealous I was given a proverb "Zeal without knowledge is not good" and I was told to "Get on my knees and fight like a man". I would recommend these to you as they have served me well. God bless.
-Dave

I admire your spirit filled spunk. You are on fire for God. Hang on to that faith. It is going to get tough for you. You are only 16. There are a lot of problems for you to face in the next few years.
He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved.
I am 51 years old. I have been a Christian for many years. I am still on fire for God.

You would make a great preacher if you get into God's word and study it. We needs some preachers that are on fire for God. Sure hope you the best in life.
God bless you.

So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into the sheath...." John 18:11

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. Philippians 1:15-17

For the world, I would not knock the wind out of your sails. I'm glad that you love God and that you are ready to stand for Him. My fear is that you are going about it in a way God would not necessarily approve of. Jesus was hardest on the Pharisees (those who were already Jews - who believed in God and taught His word), than on unbelievers.

My challenge to you is to study how Jesus dealt with unbelievers and follow Him.

My experience is that Christianity is not about smacking down the thoughts of unbelievers, but lifting up the fallen. Jesus was meek. Meekness is not weakness or passivity, but power under control.

“Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen,
My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased!
I will put My Spirit upon Him,
And He will declare justice to the Gentiles.
He will not quarrel nor cry out,
Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
A bruised reed He will not break,
And smoking flax He will not quench,
Till He sends forth justice to victory;
And in His name Gentiles will trust.” Matthew 12:18-21

May God bless you with many years of faithful service.

I think that most people are afraid because they look at what they think they will lose, and not at what they would gain.

I do not think that most of us have a good concept of what GOD means. We are not under an oppressive government, we feel quiet equal with every one. There is no king ruling over us who could have us killed because will displeased him. And we have little concept of how much greater GOD is!

I am glad that you are walking with God, keep up the good fight.

(FYI - so far I do not know Him(after 20 + yrs), but am still looking forward to that day. Please remember to pray for me. Thank you.

God be with you.

People dont want to give up thier "secular lives".

They want to enjoy, the drinking, drugs and porno and all other things that lead to destruction.

There is no where in this World, that you can go, and not hear about CHRIST! HE is everywhere, and in most minds...But, there are those who dont want any part of HIM, because it may "interfere" with thier lives!

They apparently think they will live forever, (what kid ever thinks that death is around the corner?), and they dont want to be "bothered" until its too late, THEN, they will look toward the LORD and ask "WHERE WERE YOU"???

HE was here all the time, just waiting to be invited in...

I wish you well..

Jesse

I would absolutely love it if you actually got to go down the narrow path and stuff physiclly that's one of the hard parts about Christianity for me but anyway...

People don't like to convert to Christianity because:

11% = Don't believe/ Don't care

89% = Don't want to change their lifestyle

They actually did a survey in a magizine
they are roughly the results
