this was told to me several thousands of times. if you lie about the small stuff, you'll lie about the big stuff.
When you break that trust with people, and you go to tell the truth, who would believe you. prime example, wtach the movie Cry wolf. infact the stroy cry wolf is a good reason not to cry wolf.
Basically , when you start lying to family, you'll lie to friends, you'll even start to lie to your self. more then alot of people lie. Criminals and some religious people are your biggest liars, and lawyers as will XD.
but ask yourself this, how do you feel when you are lied to, I know it wants to make me rip somebody's head off.
just remember, you reap what you sow. What comes around goes around.
the best and humble thing to do is take responsibilty for your actions. I respect people more who goes, "yeah, I messed, up" then "Um, he did it."
the truth will set you free, my friend.

Yes, lying is bad. If you want your mom to trust you then don't lie to her. Lying will only lead to more complications and trouble in the future.
Be responsible and be honest and your mom will trust you more and more.

yep, it's bad, but i'm a mom...i "usually" find out when my kids lie.
