Both actually. If you are growing spiritually seriously, the karma that you have to work through will come back to you sooner to help you work through them quicker so you can be on your way growing faster.

Also the action you put out towards someone of higher vibration such an enlightened person will come right back to you that second. I'll give you an example. When Amma was in her early 20's, she had manifested her God-Consciousness and many devotees were flocking to her in her village.

Her brother and cousin were atheists and rationalists. They did not believe in God and hated all this spiritual activity that was occurring around Amma. They both cornered her at their house alone, and produced a knife ready to stab her. She said to them "Go ahead and kill me. It is God's will whether I die or not." So the cousin stabbed her with the knife, as a result the cousin instantly right then felt the stab into his own chest. Amma never received a cut. The cut ended up on him. He died after being hospitalized from the chest wound. As a result, he ended up hurting himself.

This refers to the saying that "What goes around, goes around", "an eye for an eye". The fruits of one's actions always comes back. If you hurt someone, you have hurt coming back to you eventually. Treat others as you would treat yourself because if you hurt someone, you will end up hurting yourself. Whether sooner or later, it all comes back to you. It varies from person to person how soon it comes back.

Karma is mostly in this life...you have to start over in the next life...to a point. You have lives again and again until you get the lesson you are supposed to learn and go on to the next level.

Could be either or both. Good Karma comes back faster than does bad Karma. It's three fold as well.

The way it works is, anything you do that affects the lives of anything around you will acrue Karma, which is bad. More karma you have, the worse you will get it in your reincarnated NEXT life.

Karma, in my opinion, is acquired, changed, etc. over many lifetimes. It carries through from one life to the next, so be careful what you do in this life time.!

Karma is relevent in this lifetime.....Trust and believe that it will come back and get you. If you repent and ask God for forgiveness then that bad karma you put out there is voided.
