Youi're allowed to be like that. No I don't think you are neccessarily ADHD, I think you are BORED!!!! I was diagnosed with ADD at 14 yrs old and put on Ritalin for hyperactivity and not working in class at school and it was the WORST mistake I EVER made allowing medication to be shoved down my throat.
Helloooooooooo...be you!!!! You're doing the best you can. If ANYONE has a problem with it...it's THEIR f****ing problem. Don't take it on. It's not your fault. Get some councelling. See a homeopath to calm you down, but DON'T, and I mean DON'T go onto normal pharmacy medication...it's AWFUL. I was on stuff for a week to control my depression...moods, etc (oh, all my fault! yeah right...!!!!) and I though I was going to die!!!! I went off the meds and it was one of the happiest if not at all the happiest day of my life. I felt ALIVE again. Amazing stuff. Don't fall into the same trap as I did...it's not worth it.
Strength bud. You'll be fine. Do more sport, find things you love to do like hobbies, write a book (yes you CAN) at your age (but do it for you and your eyes and ears ONLY) otherwise ppl might comment and make you feel very small and possibly worthless. Get help from a homeopath if you feel like this. PLEASE!!!! You have enough time. I have to go back and re-do my last year of school to get the marks for what I'd like to do. I never knew my options. Do your homework (and find out possible non-medicated treatments - pharmacy yukky stuff) It's got it's good things, but they can create havoc in your life making an emotional wreck of you and a lab rat.
Cheers.

alot of teenagers can be like that. hormones are changing, it will pass. i feel ADHD is a label slapped on difficult kids. there was none of that about when i was growing up. some kids are just difficult and thats that. people like to have something to blame it on. some kids are more active and fidgety than others, same with adults, some are workaholics, cant keep still etc. alot of people dont sleep well either, they are not ADHD. thats just the way it is. with alot of kids today, i think its bad parenting. kids seem to get worse with each generation these days. its all getting out of control. years ago they would have got a clip round the ear. years ago they had more respect and manners, they were obviously doing something right and there was no ADHD.

If you really think there's something up, go to your parents or school nurse and let them know. You can also go to your family doctor. But don't obsess... I'm sure you'll be just fine! You may just be going through some extra stress right now. It's not easy being 14! Ask yourself if there may have been something that is upsetting you that has brought all of this on (for instance, are you going into highschool in the fall?, etc?)

Usually when you have ADHD you are born with it. You don't develop it later. You would have symptoms early on in life. My son showed symptoms at a very early age. When he hit puberty the symptoms diminished a little and he was able to have more self control. Perhaps you are going a stressful time in your life because this can cause poor concentration as well. It could even be a mild form of depression, which also causes poor concentration and anxiety resulting in lack of sleep.

first off, you could have ADHD, but there are lots of different types of ADHD. How bad are your grades? How hyper do you get? How fidgety are you? those are all the types of questions you need to answer for yourself before you decide to get tested. If you do decide to get tested, im sure there are plently doctors/theraptists that will test you...let me just tell you know, getting disgnosed does happen over a certain amount of days, which can be long and boring...but in the end you'll feel good about yourself, and you'll what you have to do in order to succeed.

ADHD is diagnosed usually in infancy. It is not a condition that you "develop" it is a neurological disorder. you could be suffering from stress or even puberty can have all kinds of effects on the physical and mental side of things. best advice is to make an appointment with your doctor and explain things to him/her.

my brother used to have this problem and it turned out he was allergic to all food and drink that contained E100s'. foods that had a lot of colouring in, for example Skittles were a big no no. but for this sort of thing, it's best to take the word of a doctor. if it is ADHD, it can be controlled and hopefully your life will be abit more relaxed for you. good luck.

Go and see your doctor. They'll be able to help, it could be something simple so don't panic until you've had a proper diagnosis. My mate used to be a right swine with his moods and hyperactivity, turned out he was allergic to some artificial additives in sweets! Cut them out and he was right as rain.
Hope it goes well.

Go tell you doctor your findings & they will decided on whether you need further testing or not. You will be asked several questions on your lifestyle, hobbies etc
There could be other reasons for your symptoms - best to get advice from someone who knows.
Good luck

Go see your guidance counselor to set you up with a psychologist. OR talk to your parents about taking you to a neurologist.
When did you remember be coming like this.
