Couple of issues come to mind:
1. Some units have 2 breaker sets, one for the fans and one for the compressor. Make sure the breaker is not tripped or opened.
2. The unit may have lost it's freon charge
3. There are several pressure switches in a AC unit. Failure of these switches will prevent the compressor from running.
4. The compressor motor could have failed.

Other than the breaker, you will probably need a qualified technician to check and repair.
