I just moved to a new town, and I'm hoping to find some single female friends... to hang out, go out, etc.
What's a quick way to do this?

there are tons of things to do when you're new in town...you can look up local clubs, go on the internet to see if there are any young people clubs for new townies,etc.

get involved in the activities of your area - especially since it's summer - there will be plenty going on - join a local softball team - or some other sport or event you enjoy - where you located? check out the district for activities
it's never easy being a woman! ;0)

sign up at "the women only gym", join a club (garden, cooking etc. . .) if your religious, get involved in church. Also, read the community calendar in the local paper. It will list all the clubs, organizations and upcoming events that you might be interested in.
