It depends on the Order they belong to and the vows they take. If Obedience is one of their vows and their Mother Superior says "No Smoking allowed" then that's that! Those are the breaks.
...But one never knows what's behind closed doors, does one? LOL.

Can means ability. Do means have they done it.
Nuns have the ability to smoke, just like any other human.
Do nuns smoke? I am aware of nuns who had sexual intercourse, so I would think at least one nun has smoked.

oh sure- I worked in a nursing home for nuns and lots of them smoked.

uhhh if they cant get married cannot have sex have very strong faith in god dont drink and are very stricked what makes you think that they would be able to smoke lol
