I eat more when I'm alone, and I often wolf down my food as well, so to speak, how about you?

For example: This past Saturday afternoon while my Lil Sweety:) was at work, I pounded 2 Big Macs, a large order of fries, and guzzled down a large coke within 8 minutes, "Buurp!" excuse me, so what do you think about that? Am I a hog or what?

I eat a lot more when not with my fiance, friends or family - even at restaurants. There's something that makes you feel free about eating when you're alone. When with people, you get the feeling they are watching what you eat, and how fast you eat.

I ordered an extra large pizza when no one else was home--I ate 6 of the 8 slices myself, within an hour! (and they were big slices). :D

It depends. Like if my hubby has to work late, then I am happy with just a salad for dinner. But if I am home alone all day long, then I eat everything in sight if I am not keeping myself busy. So once the house is clean...watch out because I will eat and eat.

Less -- I prefer to not eat alone in general and sometimes I get too wrapped up in what I'm doing to actually go and eat. I think I'm missing some "survival instinct" wiring in my brain. It's kind of scary at times. Though not wanting to feel alone when I eat does help explain why I keep on doing lunch at the pizza joint where they know me by name.

I always tend to eat more because then I don't have to worry about looking like a hog in front of anyone! I don't think your a hog at all. I've been trying to pace myself because I always eat fast. Oh well, you only live once you might as well enjoy it!

Yes, people tend to eat more when they are alone because they know that they are alone and and they eat as much as they want. They don't wanna be know as "food hogs" if people see them.

We all deal with things differently. Obviously eating is your way. Eating occasionally like that does not make you a hog.

I think people eat more when they are alone because there is no one to talk to so instead of pausing between bites for conversation, you are constantly eating and before you know it, you have consumed a lot of food.

I usually eat more when I'm alone, but I can't say that I can eat that much!

I eat more when I'm with other people. Generally, I eat faster than most, so when I'm sitting there waiting for someone to finish, I pick at my food even after I'm full.

I eat more when alone. I stay away from Big Macs though.
