most common.....

1. If you complain about your tax dollars thats lame, the tax money the government wastes is 10 times more than what illegals " cost " us. So if you say money ( tax dollars ) let me know what your plan for stopping wasteful government spending is, because its a much bigger drain financially.

2. If someone from another country who can't speak english took your job.......you probably should've paid more attention in school.

3. Crime, More americans commit crimes in america than anyone else.

So besides those common but moronic arguements what does it do to you? How does it affect your day to day life?

( and yes they are breaking the law, but that doesn't affect you directly in day to day life )

A lot of you are morons. You can't even come up with an original reason of how they negatively affect you!

You use tax dollars still which is hillarious.....you don't care that the government over spends and wastes but when you put a brown face on the tax problem everybody is upset.

Ricky your an idiot.

What about money NASA wastes....should we get rid of NASA it sure would give us a lot more money for schools and law enforcement for everybody.

It HASN'T affected ME negatively....but I can only speak for me.

but some comments....because I always have comments

1. I am undecided on the tax impact. Believe me taxes are no joke in this house BUT I have often wondered how all the "welfare receipients" in this country pay "good honest to goodness taxes"......oh and then get kickbacks....a check for just being them at the end of the year. I believe that no HONEST, Hardworking person appreciates that too much.

2. Education is the key......PERIOD.

3. A criminal mind is a criminal mind, I would never color code deviant behaviour and personally get offended when people do.

4. OH someone mentioned gangs. Well while I haven't lived in CA for quite some time. I was born and raised and left to join the Army. When I was there my mom worked for the Riverside County DA for close to 30 years at that time. She came home with HORROR stories but most of the time BACK THEN it was concerning "bloods" and "crips" and no mention was ever made of the powerful gangs that everyone says has the CURRENT grip on CA.

To end we have lived damn near everywhere......and oh wait someone mentioned border states. Yep.....live in a border state and was raised in a border state. When stationed in El Paso...I found the community amazing, beautifully painted homes, amazing aromas drifting out of well taken care of diners. See how perceptions are SO different for people. We made amazing friends (yes locals) and we would go back in a heartbeat.

To end...now......doesn't affect me......then......didn't affect......even BACK then......wouldn't have affected me.

Peace

1. So since the government waste a llot of money, we should just begin bleeding money?

2. May be that person should've done better in school rather than hopping the border

3. yeah because most americans outnumber the illegals. if illegals were the majority then they would have a high crime rate

It doesn't affect me yet, like it does to the people in the South. i am in new england. but in a few years we'll have the same problems they have

guer, we are talking about illegals not hispanics.

All 3 of those "moronic" arguments hold true though.

1. So just because our government "wastes" money, it is ok to waste more on illegal aliens? No.

2. If an illegal alien undercuts someone else in a manual labor job(read: no education required), how can that be the citizens fault? Oh yeah, it isnt....

3.True, more Americans commit crime, until you look at percentages per capita, then it is much, much higher for the illegal aliens. 100% if you want to get technical, because they all broke the law getting here. Even without their original transgression, it is still a higher percentage per capita.

Now how does it personally affect me, well my mother was killed by an illegal alien, in a hit and run. So yeah, it has had an affect on me.

If you as a US citizen go for help in your town for food stamps what ever, and a illegal immigrant goes in at the same time. You will be refused the help and this illegal immigrant will get all the help that they want. How is that fair when you were born and raised here plus you've worked all your life and they say no. But this person who was never born or raised here and never worked here gets all the help that they want. I've personally seen this happen, and it's not right.

excuse me !
first of all, just because someone else is wasting tax dollars more doesn't mean that our tax dollars are not being hit by illegals. i can't believe you would even use that.
2. excuse me again ! this is america ! our language is English (officially or unofficially i think the entire world knows this by now). irregardless if someone "should have payed more attention in school". your points are really flimsy and unresearched.
3. crime - americans commit more crime ? you believe everything you see on TV or what ? illegals aren't even counted in stats clumped with Americans - what are you talking about ?

day to day it DOESN"T affect my life but overall the big concern IS TAX DOLLARS. You liberals want more money for school more money for schools - you want uncrowded schools. well guess what honey - if you got rid of the illegals - maybe your child would get more attention in class because the ratio would be 1:28 instead of 1:45. Health care ? seems like everybody is getting this for free except for me - oops i'm not hispanic. how about the fact of them BREAKING THE LAW ? do you have no regard for the law ? i guess not - you don't seem to care. If you did maybe you would be here inquiring about immigration reform instead of battening down on everybody else.

Yes, it does affect us directly in day to day life. Yes, it does affect us financially. Yes, it does prevent me from working. Yes, English should be our national language and so far has pased in Congress. I was born here, I don't need to integrate with you, it should be the other way around.

Your not going to nutralize the situation by being a baby about it. If you don't respect the laws in your community, that's your problem not legal law abiding citizens. My country expects and demands that I follow the law. If I have to live like this, I would be happy to pay twice as much to arrest and deport illegal immigrants than pay half like I do for thier free social services.

It's comments like this that get me going to push to make illegal entry a felony punishable by 20 years to start. If we wanted Mexico for American land to reduce your countries size, I bet you'd be PO'd and would find all kinds of reasons how it was illegal and affected your way of life.

First rule of the criminal mind: The law doesn't matter, I am above it and can make people suffer and tell them to get over it.

Your not fooling anyone.

And one other possible senario: If we do lose states, for example, California to the Hispanic community, we will lose our diversity that so many fought for here, and if you do start taking land back to Mexico and we do have another civil war, nobody says we have to stop at your border. You sure as hell didn't stop at ours.

Did you ever hear the phrase, two wrongs don't make a right?

Point 1, 2 and 3 are absurd.

You can not justify an act because another is worse. That is completely illogical.

Lets see, someone robbed a bank yesterday, that means it's fine for me to rob my neighbor today. Get real.

Schools in our border states are underfunded and overcrowded. Those who come into the school unable to speak fluent English slow instruction for others on top of being more expensive to educate. Look at the test scores and ESL demographics of schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District to be found at www.greatschools.net. It costs $18,000 to educate a child for one year in California, and our schools are failing. We need that budgeted education money for those who are legally here.

80 hospitals and clinics went out of business in Southern California recently due to their inability to keep providing services for those who could not pay.

In addition, gangs are a huge problem in Los Angeles. I will very likely not be able to keep my kids in school through high school due to the gang issues. Gangs are fed by illegal immigrants. M13 from El Salvador is now entrenched in the United States. None of these would have been allowed in under legal immigration standards.

Illegal immigrants are only 4% of the population, but in California, by some counts, are up to 50% of the population of prisons.

I can certainly complain about taxes. It has been estimated that a household of legal residents in California pays over $1,300 per year in taxes due to illegal aliens taking services. I can deplore governmental waste as well, but that doesn't make it ok for people who aren't supposed to be here to cost me money and cost my children a decent education.
--------

Actually, I never heard of them on Fox News. I see gangs all the time and have read government documents on trends. I go to original sources. However much you may just find it easier to insult people, it isn't going to sway those who do research.

You are living in a dream world. My city is now 96% hispanic. I live it every day. Trashy yards, run down autos in the front yards. I have to go several miles out of my way for groceries as the ones in my neighborhood cater to the Mexicans. The schools in my town also cater to Spanish speakers, My granddaughter has to go to a school in another city as she has been deemed gifted. She is a 3rd grade level and she is only 5. More Americans commit crimes because there are more Americans living in America. However the crimes committed in my town are 80% hispanic. We owe people south of the border nothing. If my government wastes money, so be it. The Mexican government needs to take care of their own.

It bothers me in this way: if I broke the law, I would be either fined, jailed or imprisoned. I would have a record for life.

Illegals get away with breaking the law, politicians love them and want to give them a free ride and corporations would rather hire them because they're cheap cheap cheap.

They break our laws and get a pat on the head. That's what bothers me.
