Do they? When did that start? I'm Canadian and my husband and I have spent lots of time in the US and have many US friends and certainly have never felt hated.

Not too sure? I have a friend that moved here (California) from Canada she is a very happy and sweet person. However, she is a bit racist but I am not sure why. Maybe that is why Americans hate Canadians? Are most Canadians French? I would like to visit Canada some time. Maybe I will be happy too.

I as a Canadian I really don't think people hate us. Sure some Americans don't like us but then again it goes both ways.
And I am sure its the same for Americans. Sometimes we are used as a joke on TV but that doesn't bother me at all its just because we are unique. Plus we are so close to each other that sometimes its like a love hate relationship sibling rivalry !

I don't hate Canadians.
Well, there's this one guy I know who's from Canada, and he's really annoying, but that's not because he's Canadian. He's just annoying.
