A database would be an ideal way to keep track of survey results. Having this data in a database, like Access, will allow you to query the data and look at it in ways that you may not have considered before.

Using a spreadsheet could also be useful. I kind of depends on what kind of data you're collecting.

Modern databases like Access are very easy to use.

you did not mention how many questions and how many surveys you had. Basically, the more you have, the more likely you should use a database to input the data and query it or export it to excel and crunch it there.

well a database is a good idea if you are conducting your survey over the internet, i.e. if your survey is online....other wise, you can use excel if you want to analyse it. or if you got a very large amount of data, i suggest you use, spss....
