Wait at least 72 hours and then go to the hair salon and have them dye it for you.

You have to wait 2 weeks before you dye your hair again, otherwise it's going to be really dry, and it's going to ruin your hair. In those 2 long week of wait make sure you keep your hair hydrated by putting on conditioner after you shampoo, and/or leave on conditioner, it'll make your hair really soft and it wouln't be as dry when you get your highlights!
*Make sure you don't wait to do it the day before because if you don't like it, then there's no going back!I would recomend that you go to a salon and ask the stylist what color or what would look better according to your skin color etc.

You need to wait as long as possible, so I would wait until the day b4 the event. you can still wash it after highlighting.

I careful if you do it yourself. I had a bad experience with my own hair. It ended up green...I had highlighted my brown hair then decided to go back to brown....I had to let the salon undo my mess...and it was very expensive.

I think you should wait. I love brown hair on almost everyone so I think you should keep it brown!

you can highlight as soon as you want to. just be sure to use plenty of conditioner to prevent breakage from the multiple chemical processes.

I feel really stupid.
I just grabbed a box and dyed it back blonde.
