With good diet and exercise you can lose at least 8 pounds. If your obese. 12 should be an easy goal in a month.
Walking long distances is better than running.
Write down everything you eat and count up the calories, then take out abotu 500 for the month.

How about getting a juicer and having juice? i have just bought one and it's fab, every morning i have a glass of carrot juice and i feel fantastic, at lunch time i have a sandwich and then a healthy meal at night plus I go walking for about two miles a day. I started this last Friday and have since lost 7lbs. Oh yeah and I have also cut down on the alcohol, only having a few on a Friday night instead of every night. I'm 5'4 and a size 12 (UK size)

Detox would be the best way (get a book or go to a detox clinic). Also, walk or get other cardiovascular excersize 4-5 times a week. Just be careful and remember not to push yourself too hard. Losing weight quickly can be very hard on your body.

You need to eat clean. What I mean by that is, eat baked, broiled, or grilled foods.[ like chicken breast, lean steak, lean pork] You can also eat your veg. just don't cook with butter. you also need to stay away from sugar ,soft drinks, fried foods, and fast foods.
Once you eat right, the next step is to excerise and do cardio. I would workout with light weight and do more reps. If you do this and stick with it . I promise you , you will see results and keep it off. Good Luck and stay healthy

I did it by cutting down portion size (we American's eat wayyyy too much), cut down on butter and fats, and drink lots of water. Don't "starve" yourself because your body will go into a panic mode and hold onto all that you do eat. Get some exercise.

Excersice more (simple exercise would be to walk around near your house),
also eat when your hungry not when your 'supposed to eat' (like at dinner time, ect, meaning that if your not hungry you dont need to) and
