How do you find out who is in the prison system in Texas? What information do you have to have to get info? Is it available on the internet?

Yes. Got to http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/ and click on link Offender Information. Then go to link Online Offender Search and type in first and last name.

TDCJ provides an online database of all the incarcerated men and women in Texas. The link for the datbase serach is:

http://168.51.178.33/webapp/TDCJ/index2.htm

They updated this site every day at midnight so all the information is relatively fresh. I looked up your guy and he is in fact in prison, at the Powledge Unit in Palestine, TX.
