i need to lose atleast some weight because i'm going on vacation!! and i was planning on starving myself later on but since i'm going on vaction i though i might aswell start now.Also i though the more water you drink while your starving the more weight you lose?i've tried starving before but for only 3 days!

Say that's about 5 days from now, a pound per day, 2 lbs. for empty bowels. That's about 6 or 7 lbs, -tops (for an avg. size person)

A pound of fat "holds" about 3,500 calories, you'd after to exercise EVERY DAY and burn off your regulary 1,500 - 2,000 calories a day AND the 1,800 worth of exercising.

It depends on if you excercise or what you daily activities arer. First, note that a starvation diet is the worst thing possible, and while it may yeild quick wieght loss results, it is not only not noticable in one week, but the damage to your body due to lack of nutrients is very unhealthy. Also, if you don't eat for a period of time, when you do eat, you will most likely overeat, resulting in GAINING more weight than you had. I assume you have a date, party, or other event in which you want to look your best this Friday, but trust me, other than lipsuction, there is no way you can cause significant change in five days.

Everyone's told you this isn't safe but I doubt you care. Maybe you will care about this: starving yourself DAMAGES your metabolism and causes your body to store more fat because it thinks food is scarce. Eating small meals more often with a total calories a day of about 1600-1800 calories is the best way. IT shows your body food is plentiful and it can afford to lose the fat. Exercise also helps.

I think you may be heading towards an eating disorder. Please consult your parents or an aunt on good tips for dieting.

if you are really heavy, you can loose about 20 lbs,that's cause you have to loose fluids first, the less weight you need to loose the less you will lose in 5 days. I tried this more than once, but it's not a good way to loose weight, you will not feel good and may even faint, so just try it for a couple of days at a time.

this question deffinately depends on your body type and how your insides work, i need to eat at least a meal a day or i will faint, but then theres some people who can go days. Then theres the loosing of the weight, some it might take weeks to loose 5 lbs! And others can loose up to 10 lbs a week... it varies...

I would not advise you to do that, it is not safe. What is you reason for wanting to lose weight by friday? I am studying to be a personal trainer and starving yourself will make it worst in the long run. get back with me with that answer.

Dont do that you'll prolly only end up gaining weight. The most weight you can loose in a week is like 1-2 lbs.

it depends on your size . i doubt it would work.but, if so 5lbs at max.The healthy way is a lb a week with cut proportions, and exercise,if that helps. i mean the scale may look the same but, your waist may be 2 inches smaller.Have you tried this before? its not safe and could lead to an eating disorder don't take this as me telling you that you have a problem. cause i don't know you.but, its NOT SAFE.

i no if you fast then a average person loses 1lb a day if your over weight you lose 2 lb a day!! However starving yourself is not the soultion try diet and exercising!!
