Currently there's this girl online who I've never seen in person or even heard on the phone that I love. I'm 100% sure she's a real person; if she's not she's the most amazing faker ever.

I'm not sure she loves me back, but I really feel a chemistry when I talk to her. She's not my girlfriend, but she is the best friend you could ever meet. I could tell her anything and she would understand. I would love to meet her someday, if she is interested.

First off, to answer your question, yes I have fallen in love online. And we've been married now for 3 years and have 3 children. My advice is to Just BE CAREFUL. Especially since you've never met this person, or even talked to her before. People can make themselves into anything over the computer, it's totally different when you actually meet one another.

You have to meet her. Normally I would say don't get so emotionally attached to a person you have not met but clearly you are way past that point. A big part of love is trust and you two still do not have that, because as much as you believe she is a real girl you are not sure and even if she is a real girl you don't know for sure that she is the girl she says she is. You need to fill in all these blanks before you too move on.

If you two can't meet, like she lives too far away you have to find a way to let go of her emotionally because then you will never open yourself up to meeting real girls in the real world.

damn!.. I bet you get a shitload of answers to this one.. Hell, it happens all the time.. l00% of the same **** going down everywhere (you got going on w/you two.) it's kool, huh? What sucks is when you're married and feel this 'instant chemistry.' Now that's a difficult thing to deal with, buddy! (Been there/done that..) am in kinda shaky relationship and I am desperate as hell and want to find some stud to write me I guess.. (yeah.. I'm a piece of ****..) I know it.. If you are both single, you know damn well you want to see her.. I say go for it, dude! g'luck - later melancholia (and she IS interested.. by the way, dude. You gotta make the first move here it sounds like.)

Yes, I've fallen in love online.

But I would describe it as a 'crush', as it faded out eventually as the guy, thought decent and understanding, never came to visit me in reality and I lost all hopes, I didnt want to waste my time and energy on a person whom I've never seen, and so I left it as it is and now I'm very happily married with a person i met in reality! LOL

If you're really interested in her, do meet her as online friendship can be deceptive and your perception about this person can change once you meet her in reality which will eventually shape your decision about her.

GOOD LUCK!

My situation is a little bit different, but my girlfriend and I met through Yahoo Personals, but only live 30 minutes away, but we did still meet online and talked online, through IM for a week prior to meeting.

No, I only fall in love with people that I meet in person. How do you know that she's even a girl? It could be a man posing as a girl. You know there are a lot of weirdos out there.

this is a tough one but you should get a web-cam or something and see if she is a real person and maybe call her and ask her if she would like to meet and meet her in a safe place like a club or a public place.

Anything is possibe...not probable, but possible. And if you do not end up together, having her as a best friend is not a bad deal either.
