the speed of the computer now days is increses so i just want to know that the pentium is still the fastest processor right now or amd or some other compeny bet them?

yeah there are processors out that eg for mass network servers.
eg motherboard that have about 16 processors

Pentium has always had a faster processor speed than AMD but that doesn't mean they have greater performance. In gaming performance tests, for example, an AMD will out strip a Pentium processor that is up to 1 gig faster. that's why AMD call their processors 3000+ etc, because they are saying its on par with a Pentium 3.0 even though its only 2.2 itself.

There are no other competitors worth looking at.

Now of course there are dual core processors so even though they may be lower processing speed than single core predecessors they are far greater in performance.

Ergo: your question is irrelevant.
