what to do in a situation like this depends mainly on the age of the children, and they close in age or is one quite a bit older. younger children don't really understand why they have to wear clothes and are very interested in their bodies. Since they are not your kids there is really nothing you can do. It is probably harmless even though it seems very strange to you. The parents should talk to the children and explain that although most people are nice some people will hurt them if they continue this behavior, however you want to be care full not to embarrass the child and make them feel ashamed of their bodies. Good luck

I babysit five kids and i've never had this problem...i've had plenty of others though. I'd definitely tell the parents, even if they don't believe you. The other answers are right...you should always keep a good eye on them. I usually have the kids i baby sit play in the same room as i'm in. It can get really loud but it is safer than leaving them alone. It might also stem from maybe them seeing a tv show that their parents were watching or something...you never can tell. I might also recommend taking some sort of a babysitting class. And please work on your spelling. Good luck.

Good thing/Bad thing-You should be proud that the kids made their minds up what they wanted to be when they grow up but
not butt- naked. If this happens everytime you babysit then a timeout really needs to be inforced. No bizarre tv watching
that the kids could picked up a habit & ran away with this idea
that they can butt naked it's alright...But it's not..Really have a good talk to the ones that you're babysitting & tell them playing is
ok but not rough & put some clothes on (break it down to them slowly make sure that they understand but, don't want to listen
you burn the bottom may help or call the original parents & tell them the problem..Have a good day!!

It's not unusual for kids to play doctor, and yes, naked. Since the parents don't believe you, I'd suggest you monitor the kids more closely. Most of what they're doing is curiosity, that happened to me once too. I explained to the kids that they couldn't take their clothes off to play, and told them not to do it again. Needless to say, the kids had to stay in a room, with me, in order to play. They handled this well, and I had no further problems with them.

Dont make a big thing of it just get them to play downstairs or with their clothes on. Try speaking to the parents again just beofre they go out and see if they have a word with the children. There is nothing really that you can do, just try and get them to play another game while you are there. Good luck it is hard when you are the baby sitter

The best way to handle it is to talk to the parents and never let the kids be in a room by themselves. Make them always play in the room your in. And if they ask why then explain to them that it was wrong for them to be touching each other in that way and that know you cannot trust them to be left alone. Good luck

Stop babysitting for them. If the parents dont believe you, you could set yourself up for a bad situation. Im all for kids not being embarrassed about their bodies, but there are boundries. Apparently the parents need to set some.

Since you have this listed under toddlers/pre-schoolers, I assume they are young. They are just at a curious age - let their parents know what you saw. They are at an inoccent age and need to be told that while it is okay to explore their own bodies, their "private" parts are just that and shouldn't be shared with anyone!

As the babysitter, just inform the parents. The best thing to do is just tell them they need to play with their clothes on.

had you been doing you job , it would not have happened.
i would suggest not having children if this is how you are.
