I know you and I dont agree on most things, funny we had the same question almost. And when I figure it out for myself, maybe I can answer yours!
Got my answer. For believers, I think we are supposed to follow Gods laws, and obey the laws of the land, at the same time? Still a little confused, but I think I got the point. Legality does not make it right so to speak.

GOD gave the U.S. of A. a Democracy, through the Constitution of the United States of America (and Bill of Rights). GOD wants us to make our laws by FOLLOWING HIS LAW's. It's the only way you can OPERATE the "REAP what you SOW" invisible Spiritual LAW's that HE put into the EARTH befor HE put MANKIND on it-----for BLESSING;s not CURSING's!!!!! HE gave us a free-will, but we really need to learn how to operate on this EARTH for BLESSING's.

Personally, I think God has more to do than worry about democracy, wall street, gay and lesbian issues, or anything else that concerns our little egoistic lives. We are God's physical experiences, so I think God loves it all.

God doesnt stop at democracy otherwise He wuldnt be God. He judges things from two perspective-----The Right and The Wrong.
Rest doesnt matter to Him.
