the stars are used to sensor profane language such as **** or **** so that's where the slang term "****" came from

PS: Why does it matter what the origin of a profane word is? You either use it or you don't. And I hope you have a large enough vocabulary that you DON'T.

I was the word "sp*c". It goes with splc and span is all that I know of and that means "clean".

uber is not an "internet" word...uber is a real word in german..it means "super"...and, people say this word in real life (as in: "that woman is so uber-chic")...and I hate those people
