Isn't that admitting that He made a mistake? That man didn't turn out the way He expected him to, so He flooded the earth?
God; "I am all powerful, all knowing and I'm going to make a 'man' and put him on this ball of land and water I have created."
And then there was Adam
"Hmm...I think Adam needs a companion, so I'll knock him out, cut him open, and steal a rib. Then close him and wake him. With this rib I shall make a 'woman'."
And then there was Eve, and her and Adam are related, and God wants them to have sex. Together!
"Adam and Eve will conceive children, and then their children will have sex with each other so they can produce more offspring, thus starting my great plan of war, disease, over-population, and famine, not to mention freaks like Saddam Hussein! Ha! This will be great and I know this will happen, because I'm omniscient!"
Hmm.....doesn't sound like it will work. Okay, lets try a different approach. Thousands, or millions of years ago, depending on your.....

faith, God created Adam and Eve. The same deal with sleeping together to reproduce, but this time, God is not aware of what the future holds.
"I am creating perfection and perfection will recreate itself over and over and over again. Until this world is full of happy, beautiful, naked people frolicking about!"
Millions or thousands of years later, depending on your faith;
"Damn! This is NOT what I wanted to happen! Hey Noah! Build a really, reeeeallllly big boat and somehow, gather a male and female version of every creature I've created, and put them, with you and your wife on the boat. Cause I'm going to flood the crap (literally) out of this place! You're the only one worth a damn, so you get to live. Then I'll start over with you, I guess."

"But listen, way down the road, no one is sleeping with their sister anymore. That will be considered 'disgusting' and I will make those who do, have handicapped children. See, I won't punish the sinners, I'll punish the innocent child, because I'm a forgiving, loving God who will also show my wrath in "the end" upon those who take the life of an unborn child. I know its a little hypocritical, but who cares? I'm God!"

I think the belief is that there is a God and that there is such a thing as sin. In addition, there is a belief that God is holy, meaning that God hates sin and does not tolerate it at all.
So people have a free will, and their actions may be in line with God's holiness or it may not be. That is a choice that a free person makes, and that person is held responsible for their actions.
Another belief, that it looks like you do not mention, is that God is also just. This means God must punish sin. He cannot look the other way or just let it go, or else God is somehow crooked. So the flood was a punishment.
Perhaps a better question is, "Why doesn't God continue to flood the Earth today?"

God has selective foreknowledge, which means that God could choose not to foreknow indiscriminately all the future acts of his creatures. This would mean that, rather than all history from creation onward being a mere rerun of what had already been foreseen and foreordained, God could with all sincerity set before the first human pair the prospect of everlasting life in an earth free from wickedness. His instructions to his first human son and daughter to act as his perfect and sinless agents in filling the earth with their offspring and making it a paradise, as well as exercising control over the animal creation, could thus be expressed as the grant of a truly loving privilege and as his genuine desire toward them—not merely as the giving of a commission that, on their part, was foredoomed to failure. God’s arranging for a test by means of “the tree of the knowledge of good and bad” and his creation of “the tree of life” in the garden of Eden also would not be meaningless or cynical acts, made so by his foreknowing that the human pair would sin and never be able to eat of “the tree of life.”—Ge 1:28; 2:7-9, 15-17; 3:22-24.
As for the flood, most people don't acknowledge the whole account. Read Genesis chapter 6. The first six verses tell exactly why God brought the flood. There were bad angels who left their life in heaven and married the human women, producing hybrid offspring called Nephilim who were very violent. The earth became filled with violence.

Boy, you've gone a bit haywire with your transliteration of what you've read so far and you certainly sound like you have some hang-up on sex and nudity... which is neither here nor there. On the positive side, however, it's good that you do read the Bible.
Except that maybe you missed a line or two. Yes, God did invoke His wrath on mankind with the Great Flood but HE DID REGRET doing so and vowed not to do it [with Water] anymore. As a covenant to man, God made the rainbow.
Read up some more to get a deeper understanding on the Nature of God before jumping to unwarranted conclusions and equivocations... If you're open to suggestions and remain objective enough, try reading the Book of Enoch.
Peace be with you!

God is perfect. It is not God who makes the mistakes it is humanity. Humanity brings its experience upon itself both individually and collectively through the power of our thoughts, beliefs, words and actions. All of these things put vibrations into the universe, which works on the universal law of attraction. Individually, you have the power to create your experiences, such as having a great day. Collectively, humanity has the power to bring our experiences into our reality, such as natural disasters. The power of the subconcious is much greater than we can imagine and this is the truth about the power of free will given to us by God.
If there was flooding of the earth (probably a myth based on some version of the truth of the actuality), humanity brought it on themselves through the power of the collective consciousness. God does not interfere with our choices. (Conscious or subconscious).
As for Adam and Eve, this is a myth based on a grain of the truth. I don't believe that there were only one Adam and Eve. I believe there were many and that they probably evolved over time, such as the theory of evolution. I don't believe that the concepts of creationism and evolution are mutually exclusive, as neither has disproven the other.

OK..lets try it this way..
"I'm god..i love man before he even existed so I'll give him existence and I'll create him from nothing so he can enjoy life... but as i created him of a free well so he have to choose between living with me and enjoy life or choose the forbidden tree (which means refusing god's way by the way) and get separated from me which means death as I'm the source of life... it is his choice between life and death, good and evil,i created him with mind so he can decide which road to choose"
now lets go to the flood part...
some men have chosen the death road.. they have chosen to be separated from god... but not all men as some are still going in the right road.... so the bad ones got punished but the good ones are saved.

Thats kinda the point in free will. God didnt do this to us, we did it to ourselves, through years and years of sin and turning from God. Okay, so maybe free will was where God went wrong. We dont deserve it, we clearly mis-use it, and it has done nothing but take us away from our one real purpose, wich is to fellowship with God.
And yes, he is perfect, he knew it would happen, but just because he KNEW it doesnt mean he sticks his nose in. he gave us free will, and it would be against all God is to take it away.

Its really sad that you have this twisted ideas about God, but maybe one should leave God to deal with you Himself.
God creates what He wills in anyway He wills, and unfortunately for you, you neither have the right nor the ability nor the means to question Him. Poor thing.

Speak with a pastor about it, and remember that seeking answers isn't wrong, but criticizing is.(In other words, who are YOU to question the Almighty God?)
