okay, so i liked this guy and i made it obvious and he said he liked me too. then he told me he couldnt go out with me because he was leaving for the summer and he couldnt really get into any relationships. well then he went out with another girl and he started ignoring me and i found out he isnt leaving for the summer. well his girlfriend dumped him and he started being all nice to me again and i ended up liking him again but two of my friends are trying tro get him too and i dont know if i should try to get him or not. i think it might be a mistake. help!

Gross ~ don't ever get involved with someone who LIES to you from the get go! What else will he lie about? Won't you be constantly wondering if he's about to dump you for another? Are you really willing to play second fiddle now that he can't have what he did have? You might be sacrificing your time, efforts, and most importantly your self esteem (not to mention your little beating heart). My advice ~ you can do better. Seek out a nice guy who isn't easily swayed by the wind, think security and sweet (and cute)!

I don't know if its just me but I've never settled for being second best...and that's how he is treating you...that might mean if he finds someone who he feels is better than you ...he just might cheat or dump you just to find out..I think you might be right about it being a mistake waiting to happen if you hook up with him.
