Maybe you are asking the wrong question. And, most likely, what you are really saying is that you feel bad because you look down on people that are not popular.

What you need to do is be nice and recognize that there are valuable things that you can learn from others. And, that being popular isn't everything.

Try your best to really be a "nice" person to everybody.

Don't be too hard on yourself. You are probably not a really bad person. Just be nice.

A lot of "popular" people will see this as a weakness... and it "may" have the effect of making you not as popular in your peer group.

But you will be popular in my book !!! Good luck !!!

i know the answer to your question:

first, find the morale in the fable: great power commands great responsibility. in case you didn't notice, you have been given a gift, your popularity. so, IMHO, you need to use your popularity to save mankind, or your community. Or your best friend.

if you think being popular means you're good to go, well, dear, read the previous answers.

i'm assuming that you're serious, so in order to stop you from being so popular, i think you need to make other around you popular too. it's like sharing a burden anyways. trust me. i've been popular. and i don't like it one bit. everybody always ask for me to help them. got one tiny problem and they go: "please, Dee, you're soo cool, can you help me with the ....." it did feel good the first few days, and then it went sour.

i did think about all the girls that i get, but then again, what did they mean? they liked me because i'm popular. most of them think that maybe they'll get popular too by being with me. so there ...

not feeling so good 'bout being popular. not me.

FIrst stop actting so conceded thats not cool that sounds real bad to me lol and next start letting different types of people become your friends get a feel of all the different groups that are out there and then you should be on your way to a average life

Don't do anything, it will happen on its own. You sound reasonably dumb, somewhat boring, and a little pretentious. Even decent looks cannot cover up that sort of personality. My guess is that as people get to really know you, they will find you boring and self-absorbed and your popularity will wane on its own.
