My wife and I were invited to a Corporation sponsored spa and sauna for the entire company. (I am an American company vice pres. living in Hong Kong) The problem is that I am married to a beautiful Thai woman, who happened to be a man once.

My wife is not fully complete on her operations and still needs to remove a signifigant peice of manhood. How do we enjoy the spa and gathering. I am obligated to go. I have no problem with my wife, but what is most socially acceptable.

* The entire company consists of Americans, not Chinese businessmen.

If her concern is a bathing suit, there are many attractive ones on the market these days with a skirt. they come in one and two piece suits. Not like the old ones from the 60's, these are quite flattering and would most likely hide anything that could not be taped into place. I am sure that total nudity would not be required.

I would imagine that you could say that your wife is modest and she prefers to wear a bathing suit with a skirt or a sarong. I am English. I would not participate in a sauna (for the sake of modesty) and I suspect that other people's partners will feel the same. I very much doubt if that would be questioned. Some cultures are more modest than others and some people have belief systems which prevent them from not being covered up. I am so glad that you have found happiness with your wife and I hope that you both have a great time.

Your problem can be summed up by your phrase ". . .a Thai woman, who happened to be a man once." This person could not "happen" to be a man!

This is the same as "I have a friend who happens to be black." Really? Just "happens" to be black!!

When you confuse yourself this much about what is real, then obviously you are going to have problems knowing whether to go to the spa. As you know, this false "problem" will always be with you until you reveal the secret of your beautiful wife. The spa just puts more pressure on the situation, which will be the same if you go to a dinner, a movie, or mountain-climbing.

Probably, to be most socially acceptable as the comapny is Americans, would be for your wife to remain dressed for the entire trip. There are lovely bathing suits that have skirts, and sarongs are acceptable as coverups. As long as you make it clear that your wife remains covered because she chooses to, there should be no problem. She can choose not to particpate in activities that would require being unclothed (massages, saunas, whatever), and instead participate in something else.

I wish I could say that Americans are openminded, but some of the responses to the question prove otherwise. I wish you the best of luck and every happiness.

Based on your other questions, you have a rather wild lifestyle (doing other guys, other guys doing you when you are passed out and now married to a heshe. I think I am going to stop eating pancakes (what your company does). As far as the spa thing goes. Just act natural and those that notice will have something to talk about. I am assuming this is not a nude thing and not everyone will notice. Besides heshe's know how to hide there bulge.

If she wants to go and feels comfortable in doing so , then tell then that she has an infection and can't get in the water . she can still enjoy the social side of things and be there to support you as your wife . If she doesn't feel comfortable then just say she is ill and cannot attend and she sends her regrets . You can go to the social part and excuse your self for the hot tubbing part . good luck , I hope it all works out for you .

This is a joke, right?

"woman, who happened to be a man once."
"still needs to remove a significant peice of manhood."

How the heck is "she" a "woman" and still have "a significant peice of manhood" dangling about?

That's ridiculous!

If it's real, they are probably having this particular party to figure out what the heck is up with your "wife!" Do they know? Are they suspicious?

okay, okay. you are saying that your "wife" used to be a man, and yet not all the operations are complete, and he/she still has manly parts, then I would not take he/she because of the fact you marrying a man that is now partially a woman, could cost you any business deals that might happen on this business trip. Why call "IT" your wife, when "IT" still has man parts. Your either want to be with a man, or you want a wife, get a real woman if you want a wife, not a man having gender issues.

Hell, I say take the wifey!!! It would make for interesting and stimulating conversation and would definitely liven up what would ordinarily be a dull gig! I can guarantee you - you guys would be the life of the party and you would create some unforgettable memories for decades to come!

Get a set of bolt cutters, lots of cotton and some bandages, its time for an immediate operation... Get it cut off then go to the nude spa.
