Its like asking "how long is a piece of string". Basically, it depends on what you want to do whilst you're in these places.

If you want to take lots of excursions and helicopter sightseeing trips, then you'll need lots of money - and similarily, if you drink lots, use taxis all the time, and must eat in five star restaurants, then you'll need loads of money. I don't know anything about India, but I've been to Australia and America.

Take a mixture of cash and travellers cheques. Travellers cheques can be replaced if lost, unlike cash. In America, you can use travellers cheques like cash. When I was in Australia years ago, you had to go to a bank or bureau de change but things might be different now.

A guess as to how much you might need?

I'd probably say something like 50-100 pounds per day. You might get by on less, or you may need more - depending on what you're like with holiday spending. Also, this assumes you've ALREADY paid for your hotel room costs - otherwise, you'll need a lot more.

Another factor is whether you're travelling alone or with someone. Taxi costs are effectively half when you're travelling with someone. Also, travelling alone means you're more likely to shell out on more excursions as you make up for the lack of company.

carry three credit cards with you, so u use the three of them in each of the three countries.that way its easier to do the accounts as well . plus when you're carring credit cards you have a certain limit upto which u can spend. that should help u not go overboard with expenses.
carry minimal cash , because its always safer not to have too much cash on you while travelling.

have a safe journey and a good trip .

cheers:-)
