Don't see how one can be nostalgic about something that doesn't exist. Strange question.

Well, if you take being nostalgic as having fond memories, then I would say Yes, very definitely. God exists outside of time, but we don't, so we can look back to those times and experiences that we had, even if God is still there. And if you think about your relationship with God as a journey, then it is quite reasonable to think that we can look back at different places on that journey.
However, 'nostalgia' often has negative connotations; such as longing for something that we can't have anymore. It could be possible to think back and decide that your relationship with God was better in the past, but the beauty of it is that God is always consistent. All we have to do is decide to change OUR behaviour and we can have that relationship again. With God, nothing is unforgivable.

I can't say it is of "God's dealings" but the other day someone posed a question and it evoked a memory of me and my brothers sitting around our old dinner table discussing and debating the bible.
We were also young & naive, reality having not yet intruded on our lives. It was a pleasant time, although we did not know it at that time, and was a nice memory.
I am an atheist, but was a practicing Christian for many years. It's kind of sad none of the believers seem to have nice, nostalgic stories to tell.

Ye-es,
l remember the year l first got close to God.l was 16 years old. Everything was so intense,l wanted to spend every minute with God,worshipping, praying, examining my inner self in contemplation....
l cried each time l prayed,l got goose bumps in Church...l could literally 'feel' the Presence of God.
My sister and l and our friends in Youth Fellowship had some great times together..
l look back on those days with nostalgia and some humour, now that l am a 34- year old wife and mother of 2 and a medical doctor...My relationship with God is deeper and stronger now and not so nearly filled with 'intense' moments.. l know God let me have those days so that l can understand my kids and other intense people...Our dealings with God change as we grow,l've found.........
Peace.
