No, the hair is not too short to get a perm. However, you do not want to use a rod any smaller than white or you will feel way to curly. Another word of advice and I tell all my potential perm clients this and I know it sounds so obvious but remember getting a perm will make your hair curly. It can and will take some time to get used to the new texture of your hair.

If it is a chin-length bob then yes, it is too short. You will look like a poodle. Your hair should at least be shoulder length. But your hair will be much shorter with a perm. So if you do have shoulder length hair a perm would make it chin-length or shorter, depending on what kind of perm you get.

it depends. if you get a perm it might be too short and just get really big to the sides.

ewww...yeah...that's waaay too short. I had hair down to the middle of my back and I got it permed and it shrunk to my shoulders.

have them use their biggest rods and only get a body wave
