Can Jelly Put Out Fires?

Its in between liquid and solid.. And liquids put out fires.. So can Jelly?

Not all liquids put out fires. Water does though. And don't use petroleum jelly.

Very good question. I think that jelly would just not really put the fire out but it wouldnt help it so in a way it would be putting it out.
