NEVER EVER BRIBE! It will backfire at some point rather it be when he is 5 or 18 years old. Don't Force him to go either.

My oldest (who is now 9) was not potty trained unitl he was almost 4. I never forced him. I feared my oldest would not be potty trained in time for Kindergarten.

Let him watch daddy go potty, that works wonders. Take lots of books for him to "read" while he is doing his business. <-----Worked for my oldest.

Always, ALWAYS praise him. Be as Goofy as you can be when he goes potty. Be his cheerleader. Let him see how happy it makes you. And not just on his first time....EVERY time he goes...BE GOOFY and award him LOTS of praise!

It will come.

I potty trained my daughter with crayons. She loves crayons, so each time she would go in the potty she would get a new crayon. It worked great for her.

Another thing that I have heard some people do is to leave the child bare bottom at home and let them walk around naked from the waist down. I have had people tell me that is the only way they finally got their child trained.

Good Luck. Try not to worry, mastering the potty is a complex process, it takes time.

I had trouble with my daughter at three. What helped her was being around other children (peers) that were potty-trained. I signed her up for pre-school. One day is all it took, she's been going ever since lol

Good luck!

Just like on The Sims2, you gotta force him.He might not like it but you should have started the whole potty thing a few years ago.The earlier the better. If he cries he'll be ok.If that doesn't work you should go to a doctor or whatever it is called. My mom took me to a kid doctor once and thanks to him I stopped peeing in my pants.

Try bribing him with small candies (like m&m's or skittles). Also try offering him a toy that he wants when he uses the toilet for a week or so. You can also float cheerios in the toilet, and have him "aim" at them, if he wants to go standing up.
