Yeah it would be great to have a site of just a list of his quotes but until that comes we will have to work for them. Heres a couple that I found and like
"He's become the J.Lo of boxing!"- Larry Merchant speaking on Oscar De La Hoya's loss to Shane Mosley, HBO, September 2003
"Marquez may need some surgery on his offense..." Larry Merchant commenting on Raul Marquez
Also had a local radio football commentator in Pittsburgh, Myron Cope that was great for quotes, after a game the morning show would play some of them the next day. People like that are great for sports :o)

The link John from Jersey gave was great. My personnel favorite though, not mentioned, was during the Rahman vs. Maskaev fight. Maskaev put Rahman thru the ropes to get the upset win after being beat silly most of the fight. Larry's quote on Maskaev's win, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while."
Sometimes a think Larry frequents the casino bar between rounds.
